| I have loved cats since I was a little girl and they have always been a part of my life. The first time a saw a Himalayan kitten was three years ago and I fell in love with the breed. Since retiring from teaching school, I decided to open a small cattery and are raised with family and grandchildren. My interest in Greek Mythology led me to name the cattery Isle of Crete. I thought I would stay with the theme and use Greek names for the cats and kittens. Thus, each cat has his/her own Greek name. The meaning of the names are interesting as well as they way they are written. Beside each cat's name is the meaning of their name and how is it written in Greek. |

I can not hold a kitten without a Deposit. Deposits are non-refundable. We are aware that circumstances change and it is not always possible to take possession of a cat or kitten as originally planned. Deposits will be considered payment for boarding, grooming and lost opportunities for placement if the buyer changes their mind for any reason other than defined in the contract. |
